Post-treatment odor inspection is a follow-up visit conducted a set number of days after a deep clean, enzyme treatment, or infill service to confirm the odor is actually gone and staying gone, not just masked in the moment the crew leaves. Odor from uric acid crystals can take a day or two of heat and moisture cycling to fully reveal whether a treatment worked all the way through, so checking immediately after service doesn't always tell the full story the way a follow-up inspection does.
This service is built into our process specifically because odor can be deceptive right after treatment – a yard can smell completely clean the moment we finish and still have residual odor sources that only become noticeable once conditions change again. Homeowners who've been burned by treatments that seemed to work initially and then faded within a week are exactly who this step is designed to protect, since it catches an incomplete treatment before it becomes a repeat problem.
We return to the property and walk the full yard, paying close attention to the zones that were worst before treatment, since those are the areas most likely to reveal any remaining issue. We check for odor at different points across the yard, look at infill condition to confirm it's staying dry and properly aerated, and assess whether the treatment held up under normal use and weather since the original visit. If anything falls short, we address it directly as part of our satisfaction guarantee rather than treating the job as finished until it's genuinely resolved.
This follow-up is typically included as part of our standard service plans in Beersheba Springs, TN rather than billed as a separate line item, since we consider a job unfinished until we've confirmed the result actually holds.
We don't consider a job done until we know it worked. Call (928) 427-2477 to learn more about our follow-up guarantee.
